I use both AC units constantly when we are out. When we first hook up both units bring the temp inside down much faster. On a 100+ day it takes a long time to lower inside temps and never really gets comfortable. With both units running I will get in the low 70s inside. Not to mention the humidy we have here in Texas I can remove that much more moisture from the air also making it more comfortable. As far as noise goes, the bedroom unit is too noisy to sleep with but at night after the sun goes down the two units are not as much an issue.
