I use Adco tire covers. They seem to remain flexible where other mfgrs have hardened and started cracking in a couple years.
I use them when we are in one place for more than a few days and when the rig is stored as it is outside.
The white covers keep the tires much cooler which I checked when I first started using them.
I 'm not sure they will neccessarily extend the tires usefull life past 5 yrs but I figure why degrade them sooner. In the sun they do get hot but it's not just the heat but the UV.
