In the past I have used the tire covers that cover the whole wheel that are sold by Camping Would. Pain in the butt to put on and remove. Now with my 3583RL the slides cover the tires for the most part. I live in AZ so the sun can be a problem but when the rig is at home it is in a covered storage barn beside my house. So sun on the tires is not a factor. I for one have them inspected each year and replace them every 4 years no matter what. Yes 4 instead of 5 years just because they are not in the sun they are subject to temps over 100 for weeks at a time.
