My thought process on this equates the value of this object to an obvious engineering slip up. Maybe if I was owned a $3K-$5K camper, I wouldn't complain. I just think a little more attention should have been paid to affording a cover for the entry/exit of a ~$55K 5th wheel camper that many FT/long time in.

Maybe I'm not expressing myself well enough... when you have a 39 ft "camper" with dual pane windows, fireplace, central vac, 2 A/Cs, 4 slides, king bed, surround sound entertainment center, etc... and then no one can figure out how to get an awning to cover the entrance on a rainy day... my mind puts up a big question mark, I guess...

I know this would bother many others. But I just can't justify having to throw my door wide open and try to squeeze out the extreme left side and jump to keep from getting wet. I do have to go out sometimes when it's raining. I'd probably really be upset if I had been in Washington/Oregon this spring during those record rains, with this awning set up.
