Other than weighing the truck and subtracting that weight from the GVWR, the only good place to find the cargo capacity is on the Tire and Loading Information sticker on the driver's door frame. That weight is for THAT truck.

Gas trucks always have higher cargo capacities than diesels...no heavy engine up front.
