our monty is a 06 model your probably correct in thinking this problem will be in other models too after talking to the rv guys that I bought the motor from it happens alot they repair about 5 every season all of them had water in the bottom bearing just like mine did they showed us a handfull of these motors they keep in stock so it must be a problem in all models and makes
