Welcome, I'm a "newbie" myself, chuckled to myself when I read your thread title - it's exactly what I did! Back in 2000 I got a 25' "fiver" when my son was young - fav-o-rite campground Boone, NC KOA. It was a LOT of fun.
We eventually sold the rig and trailer when my son went to university.
When we recently decided to buy some land up north (eventually build), I heard about a used 2008 Montana (bumper pull), came to this forum and has it ever been a Godsend ! I started reading through some threads, eventually asked a few questions, and decided to buy the Montana (glad I did, it's beautiful)!
You're right what a resource these fine folks on this forum are!!
