As I watched this rather long video I was struck throughout with the disturbing fact that there was no attempt to move the vehicles to a safer location. They were parked very close to the roadway in a location that offered a huge amount of room to move to a safer spot. The truck and 5th wheel could have been driven away from the road, the tow truck operator could have moved it simply by using a chain but that measure was never taken or even discussed. The most important factor was ignored and not once addressed in their discussion.
#1 safety factor is to get your unit as far away from the traffic lanes as possible.
