We have a combo unit. Very convenient. We are not full-timers so we do not use it a bunch.
Pros: No trips to the Laundromat
Don't have to wait, we can still go about our day
Cons: Load Size
Noise
We hate doing laundry. So when it is time to do laundry we want to do it all at once. Typically we can carry enough clothes for a trip so the W/D in the RV is only used when something was spilled on clothes or just a few pieces need to be done. If we are on the road for several weeks we will hit the laundromat and do several loads at the same time.
