Gang,
Just returned from the Las Vegas RV dealer after having the furnace noise corrected. They had to "place reinforcements in two places" to correct the bang. I used the furnace for the first time last night, and waited for the bang and didn't get one. I mentioned to the service writer, that Keystone needed to be made aware of this issue. His response was, "they are paying for the repair and know about what had to be done". I continued to press him that the factory needed to be aware of this issue, because, I was certain that our rig wasn't the only one made with this problem.
I could have repaired this on my own, but since it was under warranty, I felt that it should be there problem to solve.
BTW, the keystone website shows two RV dealers as Montana dealers in the Las Vegas area. The first one shown, Carl's is out of business and the other "Las Vegas RV" has Montanas on their lot but I had the understanding from the service writer, that they also were not a factory dealer for Montana. He did tell me that they would honor the Keystone warranty.
Sincerely yours,
Steve
