I have recently discovered that in 06 ford specs two different size hoses, one shorter than the other. I don't know the cutoff date but its an early-later model deal. Also my truck (later model) does fine with the after market that's on it. My sons truck (earlier model) wont hold an after market. The only difference we can see is OEM has a grove molded into the rubber hose designed to mate with a ridge cast into the CAC tube and turbo outlet
