Apparently not an uncommon problem. But I had an '07 F350 6.0 traded at about 77,000 and never had the problem. And that was pulling Colorado mountain passes several times over the years with the boost moving up the dial pretty far.

If it happens again, you might try over on the Ford Truck Enthusiasts forum to see if someone there has a good solution. Very active Ford truck owner forum.
