When I go truck shopping my biggest thing is how does it do when not towing and what features does it have. For towing a few times a year, MPG isn't a huge deal for me. Though, in my '16 3500 DRW CC Duramax, I can average 12-13.5 mpg with the Monty and that's in the mountains in the New England area. When I towed our travel trailer to Maine, I was getting around 14 on the highway. We haven't towed the Monty on a highway yet for a long trip.
