A local window manufactor here runs an advertisement where they put a heat lamp on one side of window and then measure the temperature on the other side. They do this on a single pane and then on their dual pane window. There is a substantial difference between the two, of course these have the void in between the two peices of glass. It would be interesting to see this test done on an RV dual pane window. Maybe take the reading an inch away from the glass because I would think that two peices of glass without the air gap would transfer the heat equally after being subjected to the heat source for a while.
