Agree you can wax over the stripes with no problem. The only thing I don't wax is the fender skirts. I waxed the nose twice as this seems to get the most wear and tear. It took me 3 days and I was using an orbital machine but only after taking the bulk of the wax off by hand. The next time I am at a rally and they want to do it for 300 bucks they can have at it. In fact I would probably pay a little more. Very labor intensive. I am glad I have mine in an completely enclosed building or I would need to do this every year.
