Hi Yank,
The first trip Phyllis and I did with our 3280 was from Gig Harbor, Wa to Reno Nevada via the Syskyious(sp) at the oregon calif border. That is a long steep pass, and We experienced zero problems. I pulled the pass without the truck not getting anywhere near high temps on tranny or engine. We average 12 MPG towing and 20.2MPG not towing on that trip. I also have a 2004 Chev 3/4 hd w. allsion.
Great rig!! My understanding is that any of the newer trucks, (ford, Chev, dodge) are great TV's. Just remember like any good piece of equipment you should maintain them properly. We love our Monty and our trip in May is going to be to Northern Nevada to Ely.

to visit very old friends whose anniversary is coming up (their in their 80's married when they were 16.
