It is unfortunate about your experience. Everytime I have visited Fort Wilderness the experience has been great. Well, not exactly...last summer my firends accompanied my wife and I there for 7 days. Hurricane Charly decided to make a right turn and focus a direct hit on Orlando. One thousands rigs evacuated from the Fort; it was not a pretty scene. But I can't blame Disney for that! Perhaps you can try again...maybe it was just bad timing!
