First, there's a great bike trail along the river and canals downtown. Lot's of fun to ride. My wife and I did the programs at RV parks for Fish and Wildlife down there for the last two years. We visited many of the parks and there is something there for you, whatever interests you. There are a couple with their own golf courses, a tennis resort, a brand new one that has a state of the art bowling alley, one that has it's own concert venue and even one where each lot has it's own orange tree. Many friendly and reasonably priced parks and nice people. If you are an Escapee member there's even a Skp park on the south side of town.
