Yes I put the hot water heater in bypass mode and drained it. After I drained it I shot just a little antifreeze through the hot water heater and let it drain. I put the plug in after that. I then ran antifreeze through all the lines and then let plenty run into the drains from the faucets to fill traps. I then hooked my exterior shower hose to the black water flush and put antifreeze in that line. After that I opened the low point drains and the faucet in the kitchen and let it drain.
