We bought a Mountaineer two years ago. When looking at differences, we found the Moutaineer is set up a little different and to us seemed geared toward the weekenders or short timers. Montana's have a few more creature oomforts for extended comfort. We like the outside stove and sink and a few other features for adventure type stuff. The Montana's we looked at seemed almost to fancy for our needs
