There is a difference between the weight rating and the pressure rating.

Pressure is the internal force trying push the wheel outward. Too much pressure and the metal could fatigue and fail.

Weight is the force being applied downward on the wheel due to weight on the axle. Too much weight could cause the metal to fatigue and fail.

Your OEM ST tires probably are rated for about 3,400 lbs of weight at 80 psi air pressure. So the wheels needed to be rated for 3,500 lbs weight at 80 psi.

The Ribs are only rated at 3,042 lbs weight at the same 80 PSI.
