That’s what ended up happening here. Roadside assistance strapped the axle up and I drove to Schwab. ...who then told me that because I had the disc brake conversion they could get it done for 8 weeks. Sigh.
Mercifully, they told me about Kirshner down the road. A few harrowing miles later I pulled in. They have the parts and are bending over backwards to help me, despite being solidly booked for weeks.
