Hi

An aircraft mechanic with a Nicopress tool would repair that cable in 30 min. 3/16 cable is a common sizes for light aircraft.

The Nicopress tool looks like a bolt cutter and squeezes copper sleeves for repairing or replacing aircraft control cables.
