According to a retired Goodyear engineer at a Escapee boot camp years ago, the only thing you really have to worry about is concrete and it's ok as long as you put something between the tire and the concrete like a plastic placemat or something similar. According to the engineer, the black spots you see after tires have been on concrete for a period of time is due to a chemical in the concrete leaching the anti-aging chemicals out of the tire.
