Cell Phone ICE

The scene 9 months ago:
Dilon, Montana, just setting up in the park (Only 6 RV's) and heard someone screaming help. Long story short, an Rv'er by himself had a sezure, unconciious and ambulance got him to hospital. Three hours later police show back up asking questions if anyone knew him. No wallet and police searched the rv for information. They didn't find any.
Skip to Present:
Talking with two County Emergancy people here at home and told the sad story about him.
The Responce: He didn't have "ICE" in his cell phone. Seems the new thing is, because most everyone carries a cell phone, they should put a Contact Name "ICE" in. (In Case Of Emergancy). The paramedics or police now look in cell phones first for who to call. Put your wife/husband's number in or even a doctors number.
If you need to, put ICE1 and/or ICE2 if needed, as they are now calling each to gain or give information.
My understanding is this is one of the new simple things emergancy people are being trained to look for when on scene.

I hope my long post could help a RV forum member in the future.

Regards
Randy
