We just got the Mod done to both the living room and bed room A/C. We used 1 1/4 " PVC 10" long. Just took off the vent with the filter and removed the internal keeper grate (4 screws). Put the PVC in long ways and turned it 90 degrees. It really opened up the duct which was almost 100% closed. I really believe it improved the air flow by over 50%.we have had constant freeze up issues on this unit this summer. I am excited to try it out on our way to Goshen. Thanks to everyone who provided these suggestions.
