You might want to go to lowes or home Depot and buy a roll of the aluminum duct tape as I can almost guarantee that the factory will have done a crappy job of sealing the flange to the duct. The duct on my unit wasn't sealed very well at all of the air outlets. I had to cut down all of the inner flanges as well as they were way too long and stuck up in the duct a lot which really made airflow flow around them and not into them with any efficiency.
