Hi:

We have same year and model as yours and yes we love ours too! Our door is the same as yours. Has the friction control. We had a few days with wind in the 15 to 20 MPH range with no issues. If we find it to be a problem we will install a door latch as others have suggested. Easy fix. Congratulations on your new rig.

Best regards,

Steve

We picked up our 2015 Big Sky 379RL in April. On our first outing we noticed there is no door stop or latch to hold the outside main door open. In the past you would sometimes have a hydraulic prop that would hold the door open. On our unit the only thing that holds the door open is friction and a 10 mph wind overcomes the little bit of friction there. Am I alone here and something was left off or is this an intentional oversight?

On a different note, we love our unit...the automatic levelers and the dish washer are awesome! I feel like we hit the jackpot.
