Ours is doing the same thing. There is a TSB out from Dometic saying not to run the Ac units with the T-stat in AU or LO mode in a humid environment as they will freeze up when they start to shut down. Ours front AC unit does it every time in the LO position as my wife doesn't like it on HI. BTW, according to Dometic, these new thermostats do not go bad
