In these cases, if you are running Windows 2000 or XP, you must logon into safe mode (F8 during bootup) and run the cleaner. If that doesn't do it, then use HiJackThis! while in safe mode and remove the service from starting up. There is a new site where you can post your HiJackThis log file and it will tell you what each entry is and what action you should take:
