I wonder if this isn't old news -- Chrysler selling the large van / chassis vehicles (Sprinter I think they are called) which have the mercedes in them. Given that the cummins is already approved for 2010 standards, I don't see them jumping to another engine and having to worry about the EPA requirements for their 5500 and below. Then again, given today's economy and all, we could see some strange arrangements being made to maintain market / continue operations. Time will tell I guess.
