Not familiar with this model, but sounds like you're dealing with a sliding door. We had an issue with an SOB in that the latches would dig your arm when you reached in the closet. I saw a tip from Mark Polk and ordered these latches from Amazon to replace the OEM. they did the trick. We also used a tension shower rod in the track as a back up.

These worked great. You just flip them and leave them up when you're parked and flip them down for travel.
