Generally staying under 65 mph is destructive to ST speed rated tires.
covering tires is not significant. 5 years is the LIMIT whether you cover them or not.
Exceeding 65 mph with an ST tire IS SIGNIFICANT
,,, they probably will not survive 5 years after being "slung" by over speed
...and keeping the sun off them will not counter the damage done by CENTRIFUGAL FORCE
