Ken, since you have Verizon for your carrier go in and talk to them about this. We have a Jet Pack we use even though we have hot spot capability on both of our phones. As also suggested the use of a cheap Ipad/tablet through Verizon and add it to your monthly charge and you have another hotspot that can be left on while you're goneand you can view the temps that way also.
