It is great to see America treating Veterans with respect and appreciation. I started in 1971 and vividly remember the days of having my car egged and not being allowed to even wear any military uniform when driving off-post during the early 70s. Used to have to wear civilian clothes when traveling from and to home at the start / end of the duty day. Things changed in the 21 plus years I was active Army, and are even better for our Vets today. I'm glad I served and I'm proud of all those who continue to serve today. Duty First!

A very heartfelt Thank You to all the other Vets out there, and to the Non-Vets as well for recognizing us today as you do. It was, and is, an honor to serve!
