The Quartzsite rally was the best! It did take a couple of days to complete the circle...think Firetrucker had a slow engine, so he was a little behind
, but to see all those Montanas lined up.....the campfires, pizza parties, and the great new friends.....Life just doesn't get any better, maybe next year we can have more rigs!
About the generators. We are fulltimers, and our goal WAS to only use our solar panels (4) and our golf cart batteries (6) for our dry camping power, well after seeing how these little marvels made life easy, we purchased a Honda 2000i. This has supplemented the solar so well, that now, boondocking is a breeze...even with our freezer.
The purr of the generators early in the morning and into the night was no problem, the sound never disturbed us at all.
Now if Mel would just quit slamming that front door of his rig when Joy tells him to start the generator, we would all sleep a lot better!
