Ours also had a leak there and it was as jimcol said, loose connections at the faucet, under the tub. Ours has an access panel. Remove four screws and you can reach the connections to check for tightness. If yours has that access panel it might be worth checking the connections. Good luck and let us know what you find.

Oh, another place we had a leak was around the drain. Ours had no support under that part of the tub. A little spray in foam to fill the area solved that problem. That and tightening the drain fitting. The tub floor would flex and allow water to seep around the drain into the cavity below the tub.
