Been several years, but we stayed at the OKC KOA and it was good. Would stay again when/if we go back. A few miles east on I-40.

In San Antonio we stayed at Traveler's World. Again it was good and we would stay again. Apparently popular with snowbirders as we were there in early April and they were having a "good bye for the season" dinner for those about to start the reverse migration. Located on a main street that goes direct to downtown and the Riverwalk, Alamo, Mercado, etc. Parking my F350 CC long bed was no problem a short walk to the Riverwalk. Or there is a bus stop right in front of the park if you prefer not to drive. But if you do chose this, ask me first about directions. One street you do not want to take due to bad rail crossing. KOA also gets good reviews but I have not stayed there.
