Just one other perspective - your noise tolerance. Where we live we frequently get winds above 40 mph. It becomes noisy to us. We had them on our first two Montana's but the dealers in Colorado do not order them with awnings because of wind and snow. So, we went with the suggestion of the dealers out here. Since we have a roof mounted satellite dish, we don't park under trees unless we have to. So far we've been happy. But, it's a personal decision. Just know that if noise bothers you, the toppers probably will if you are in a windy area.
