Using the trailer GVWR of 16,840 and 23% as estimated pin weight that works out to 3,873 lbs for estimated, actual, pin weight.

So, yes you are in DRW territory. Unless you just tow the thing around empty.

However, this summer, spending 4 months in a campground in Colorado I saw more SWR trucks pulling large trailers, and almost all had air bags on the truck. So, will it pull it, yes.

But the guys that had moved from a smaller trailer to a bigger trailer with a SRW truck, moved to a bigger, heavier trailer were all towing with DRW trucks.

I have never pulled a 5th wheel with a SRW truck. My first 5th was a new one in '94 I pulled with a '94 DRW Ford. My current truck is in my sig below.
