OK, different point of view here. We have added the early version of the "Step Above" so not sure how the new ones match up. But what I did was drill out the four rivets on each side of the steps where they attach to the hinge and replaced with four pins.
We still have our OEM folding steps, so we leave the Mor/ryde steps in our storage shed at our Winter site and use the OEMs for our summer travels. In the Winter I bring out the Mor/ryde steps and we use them all Winter. Works for us.
