I posted installing a Honda 6500 on slide out bars utilizing the gen prep transfer switch but removing the aluminum box. The post was under Additions and Improvements and Honda 6500 installation. It was posted 12/13/2013 and had pics of the whole thing. I am still using the setup and it works out great for me...and no exhaust problems. At least gives you an idea of other installation possibilities.
