I replaced the backup lights with them also, so have two red LED signal lights on each side. I then installed LED strip lights on the back face of the bicycle hitch to replace the backup lights.

Thanks for the idea. I replaced the original lights with twin LED's on each side and added the backup strip lights. Before & after photos.
