Yes we have a pretty unique approach also. We do long off-road trips to remote areas or areas that are hard to access. We have an outfitted Toyota Land Cruiser and a Turtleback expedition trailer that make for some pretty neat trips. We did a 4000mi trip from SC up into the North Maine Woods and Quebec back country with it last year. It's a completely opposite experience than a big fifth wheel but we love it equally.

Check out www.turtlebacktrailers.com to see them. We are the talk of the campground in that thing! Typically we are off the beaten path so it doesn't happen often in that setup. I need to get a pic of the two units side by side. Night and day, David and Goliath but it's funny that certain things don't change (like the hot water heaters).
