I got an email from Kodiak this morning.

"In some cases where the axle flange is welded to the tube it can sometimes be off. I have 7k spacers but we moved over the weekend and they are packed in box somewhere in our warehouse.. I believe they are 3/16 think which should be enough to get the bracket closer to the rotor. It might be a few day before they get unpacked though..,

Spacers are sometimes required on 7K axles.

I made some out of the center of the old backing plates and all is good now. Rotors spin free and install is almost done. Can't wait to try them out.
