That does not Jive with any person I know and have talked to with the 6 point, My friend has a SOB with the Lippert 6 point also and his is Rock solid too something is not right for sure,As far as the popping sound we are Fulltimers and ours did that for a few months then it just finally stopped doing it now it is as quiet as a mouse
