Just an option instead of the recessed connector. I found the sat-coax cable under the slide. Since I could not get the sat. cable to work from the convenience center, I figured what the heck. I cut the coax cable under the slide and put a connector on it. Now as soon as I run the slide out and we are set. I connect the coax to that connector and put the tripod where it needs to be. This way I did not have to do any cutting.
