I put all the towns in a binder with addresses and phone numbers and call a few days before we go that way we have reservations. I use Good Sam for all of them.
Make sure you have a place for any holidays. My wife finds things to do in towns that we are going to stay at and she writes all the information in a notebook. She also writes down address of people we know and sends post cards to them along our way. We also collect shot glasses at places we visit. Ya we have a few LOL
