Karl and I have been in our fifth wheel 5 months. We closed on our house July 11 and became full-timers. We are both newly retired and I love it. We are in northern MN and plan a trip through the southwest and landing in Texas close to Padre Island for 5 months. We have a 2955RL (2005) 250 Heavy duty Ford Diesel. (2004) We wieghed in at 1640 lbs under weight. We sold everything, guess I could have kept my shoes, but we love it. We did a little remodeling, we took out the couch and put in an oak desk with a fancy rug, plus desk chair and antique rocker. It is our little den. with a table and chair set the floor space looks larger. I have a bit of gypsy and look forward to seeing the entire USA. Our kids are grown live everywhere and busy with their families. We are also looking forward to the full time lifestyle.
