I can remember (CRS) if it can with it or we bought it seperate, but we have a long rod with a rubber handle and a hook on it.
You can shut off the switch, or pull the handle to manual open the vent.
We also use it in the bedroom when we travel, down through the handle in the bureau to keep them closed when traveling.
